The Mad King Edmund band came about as a happy accident when friends Espen Holtan and Ed Pettersen got together to start swapping tracks and experimenting. Two years later they had 13 songs which they brought to Athletic Sound in Halden, Norway and asked their good friend Alex Lindback to contribute and "just see what happens". What occurred was beyond their expectations.
